Jamaican Banjo Model and Wood Bones

This model series of banjo and bones are designed By Dom Flemons “The American Songster” and made by Jeff Menzies in Kingston, Jamaica. A portion of the proceeds of this series will be placed toward the building of a community center in the inner city of Kingston, Jamaica where community members of all ages will receive support in developing skills in instrument making, providing them with a skill set in instrument making and repair. These banjos are pre-ordered and are made in the order sales have been placed.

Jamaican Wood Bones

The American Songster Jamaican Wood Bones are handmade by Jeff Menzies and designed by Dom Flemons to suit his personal playing preferences. Plus, the bones are great for beginners and advanced players of all ages. This percussion instrument can be used in jam sessions, on stage, in the recording studio, or at home by adding an extra rhythmic flair to any style of music. Each pair is crafted out of local Caribbean woods in Jamaica and each pair is made with great care to optimize tonal qualities and comfort. Available in blue mahoe, almond and sweet wood.
